Abstract

Abstract:

This research came under the title: (The Religious Dimension And Its Impact on America Foreign Policy) to highlight the role of religion and its effective impact in formulating decisions related to America foreign policy and its role in shaping the political thought of the citizen and the state within the American community, which is clearly reflected in the overall policies, both domestic and foreign.  We also referred in the course of this research to the position of religion and its roots in American society, and how the American Christ was formulated as a Jewish messiah, with an explanation of the Jewish, Protestant and Catholic origins and the Hebrew conquest of Christianity. Then we discussed how and the aspects of the separation between church and state and the legislative principles, which is a theoretical separation. In order to emphasize the relationship between religion and the state in practice, we referred to the models of active religious groups in political participation, and the double standards between idealism and realism in American politics. The research concluded with an explanation of how politics and religion were combined in American political thought. In such a way that every political decision - from America's inception to the present day - is not without the impact of religion and i00ts effectiveness on political decision-makers in general and related to foreign policy in particular.
