Abstract:
This research aims to identify the opinions of the jurists regarding the wife’s right to request a judicial separation from her husband in the event of his alimony insolvency. Likewise, the different views between those who classify this type of separation as an annulment or a revocable divorce, and whether the separation is required immediately or inaction, and what is the duration of the inaction. And standing on their evidence in all of that, then weighing and comparing the personal status laws in some Arab countries, including Iraq, Sudan, UAE, and Jordan.
