EFL Learners’ Need to Know about English Phrasal Verbs

Abstract

Research undertaken globally has revealed that English phrasal verbs (EPVs) are one of the most difficult areas for English as a foreign language (EFL) and English as a second language (ESL) learners who wish to advance and have an excellent command of the English language. Through implementing a mixed-method approach, which is comprised of descriptive and analytical approaches, this article aims to provide EFL learners with the knowledge essential for the comprehension and use of PVs.
