Abstract
This paper examines the impact of the aesthetic language on narrative interpretation texts between the lay readers and the specialists in literature in Ehlam Elmostaganmi novel (The Couch of Senses) and Isabel Allende’s novel (Love and Shadow). Mainly, the paper aims to investigate the role of aesthetic language in transferring the meaning of the texts that have aesthetic language and to what extent it is different or the same to those whom just interested in novels and whose whom are specialized in literature. In both novels the writers use aesthetic language in their narrative texts and this is one of the reasons that make their audience too many comparing to their peers novelists. The paper comes out with finding that sticks the role of the aesthetic language on narrative text which enhances people to read. Aesthetic language pushes the lay readers to follow the beauty of the language more than the value of the meaning. However, the aesthetic language may participate in deepening the meaning which is quite obvious to the specialists or sometime misleads the readers.
