This research focuses on the critical edition of the manuscript Mukhtasar Nukhbat al-Fikr by Imam Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Wazir al-Yamani (d. 840 AH), one of the prominent scholars who summarized the book Nukhbat al-Fikr fi Mustalah Ahl al-Athar by Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (d. 852 AH).. The study aims to highlight the scholarly value of the manuscript and its contribution to the enrichment of the science of Hadith terminology. It addresses several research questions, including verifying the manuscript’s attribution to its author, presenting an innovative model of scholarly summarization, and evaluating its unique scientific contributions
